Proposal Coordinator

Overview We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. We are Making Sustainability Happen. Role As our new Proposal Coordinator, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal. Responsibilities Support the preparation of proposals and interview materials. Support preparations for technical presentations as requested. Operate in an organized and detail-oriented manner. Reinforce brand guidelines. Assist in maintaining marketing databases and project descriptions. Maintain open lines of communication and respond promptly to inquiries. Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff to support proposal efforts. Perform QA/QC review of proposal and interview materials. Provide backup support to the Proposal Manager relative to RFQ/RFP opportunities. Perform market research on industry trends as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $72,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location. Qualifications / Education / Memberships Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education. 1 - 3 years' proposal or marketing experience. Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and production skills. Ability to pick up new procedures and put them into practice. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with an understanding of the time-critical nature of proposals and other marketing tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Team player with strong interpersonal skills; organized and detail oriented. Ability to interact professionally and productively with staff at all levels, including firm leadership. Preferred Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Experience with SharePoint. Experience in the proposal process. Comfortable interfacing with employees, clients, and vendors throughout all levels of the organization.
