Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization

Compensation: The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour - biweekly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Highlights: This position is a 6 month contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Training Schedule: First 6 weeks | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST | Monday – Friday No time off permitted during training This position follows a standard 8.5-hour workday Permanent schedule will be determined based on business needs after training is completed Candidates must be comfortable working CST hours. Fully remote Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, and other healthcare contacts Provide professional and courteous phone support through the criteria-based prior authorization process Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of reviews Transfer clinical questions, escalations, and judgment calls to the pharmacist team as appropriate Maintain HIPAA compliance while working remotely Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple systems and workflows Requirements: Active Pharmacy Technician license required Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred Strong customer service and phone communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Ability to sit and remain focused for the duration of the shift with minimal interruptions Must have wired internet connection with minimum 25mbps download and 3mbps upload speeds Must provide screenshot of internet speed Must provide screenshot of pharmacy technician license Must have a dedicated HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions and interruptions Must have no conflicts with the required training schedule Education: Required: High School Diploma or GED If you are interested in this position, please apply directly to this job posting or email resume and job title to Jenise Nottage at View email address on click.appcast.io . .
