Per-Diem LVN - Primary Care/Occupational Health

Primary Care/Occupational Health Licensed Vocational Nurse needed for a per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh's employee health client located in Frisco, TX.

The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Looking for someone to fill-in as-needed to cover for PTO and sick calls.

--> Clinic hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday/Thursday 6:30am to 3:30pm (lunch from 12pm to 1pm)

--> Shifts available so far: June 16-19, July 17, 23, 24, 27

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in state of Texas
• Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting
• Must be confident with venipuncture
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Room patients and take vitals
• Assist providers with ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
• Provide wellness materials/information
• Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy and biometric screenings - blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
• Charting using EPIC
• If needed, may assist with administrative tasks such as: filing, data entry, scanning, stocking rooms, etc.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Prior experience using electronic medical records (EPIC experience a huge plus!)
• BLS certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold
• Professional, dedicated, and helpful employee
