The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements and manufacturing cost reporting and analysis.### Primary Responsibilities:* Lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.* Assist in managing the month-end close and financial reporting processes.* Participate in the year-end financial statement audit through effectively responding to specific requests and inquiries from the external audit team.* Establish and maintain the company’s account management procedures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.* Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and other departments to ensure financial data integrity.* Monitor financial integrity and compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.* Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle.* Train and mentor junior accounting staff to build a strong and capable team.* Participate in other strategic finance, account, and business projects if needed.### Qualifications and Experience:* College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant or similar certification preferred.* 6+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.* Strong knowledge of US GAAP as well as risks and controls.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP system is an asset.* Be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands-on approach.Mesquite Module Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
