Pharmacy Technician

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: Redlands, CA
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–9:00 PM; Friday, 10:30 AM–7:30 PM
Interview: In-person interview required

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by selecting, picking, packaging, and preparing medications and supplies under the supervision of a Pharmacist. This role also assists with inventory control, record keeping, administrative support, and may be cross-trained to support operational functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Select, pick, and package medications and pharmacy supplies under pharmacist supervision
• Perform required record-keeping and documentation activities
• Assist with inventory control and general pharmacy operations
• Support cross-trained responsibilities (operations/materials coordination as needed)
• Operate computer systems, pharmacy equipment, and other assigned machinery
• Follow applicable procedures, safety requirements, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Current California Pharmacy Technician License required
• • National pharmacy technician certification alone is not accepted in place of the California license
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in an administrative/support capacity
• Advanced computer skills (word processing and spreadsheet use)
• Excellent written/verbal communication and strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Safety Requirements (Safety-Sensitive Role)

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand for the duration of the shift (8–10 hours)
• Repeatedly lift 5–10 lbs throughout the shift
• Occasionally lift up to 30–50 lbs unassisted
• Reach/grasp items at various heights
• Work around moving machinery (e.g., conveyor belts) in a moderate-noise environment
• Use a keyboard/computer regularly and follow PPE/safety requirements
