Job Description: Provide guests with a relaxing, therapeutic nail experience while delivering exceptional service that helps them look and feel their best.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, creating a positive and professional experience from arrival through departure.
• Conduct thorough guest consultations using techniques and standards established by Douglas J.
• Perform the technical aspects of all nail services offered on the Douglas J service menu safely, efficiently, and professionally.
• Educate guests on appropriate at-home nail care and recommend products that support the health and appearance of their nails.
• Recommend and encourage pre-booking to help guests maintain their preferred service schedule.
• Meet or exceed established departmental goals for retail sales and guest retention.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with guests through personalized service and professional recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary service environment in accordance with applicable standards.
• Stay current with industry techniques, products, and service standards.
• Complete and maintain all required annual continuing education.
• Represent Douglas J professionally and contribute positively to the salon team and overall guest experience.

Requirements

• Active Cosmetology or Manicurist License required.
• Previous experience providing professional nail services is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Superior guest service skills with a genuine commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with the Douglas J Image Principle.
• Commitment to continued education and mastery of the nail craft.
