Those companies include skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, addiction treatment programs, hotels, and commercial real estate. We are growing, and this role will grow with us.The RoleThis is the senior HR leader for the organization. You will lead HR for all employees across our affiliated companies, set HR strategy, and own the function end to end.What You'll DoLead HR for ~ 2,000 employees across multiple locations in six states (DE, FL, MD, NJ, PA, VA)Partner with senior leadership and ownership on staffing, organizational changes, and workforce planningManage employee relations and workplace investigations, and work with outside counsel when neededHandle agency charges and hearings, including EEOC, state labor department, unemployment, and workers' compensationOversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention, including licensed clinical staff in a competitive labor marketOwn compensation, benefits, and annual plan renewals, including carrier negotiationsOversee performance management, corrective action, and terminationsEnsure compliance with federal and state employment law, including wage and hour, leave, and licensure and exclusion screeningOwn HR policies, handbooks, and training, and keep them currentProtect confidential employee and health informationBuild a workplace where people want to stayBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family401(k) with company matchCompany-paid life insurance and long-term disabilityShort-term disability, maternity leave, and personal and family medical leaveFSA and HRAPaid vacation, personal days, sick days, and holidaysTuition reimbursementEmployee Perks ProgramOnix Group is an equal opportunity employer. Employment is contingent on a background check and drug screening.What You BringBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field[7+] years of progressive HR experience, including [3+] years leading an HR functionHealthcare experience required; long-term care or skilled nursing strongly preferredExperience managing HR across multiple locations or legal entitiesHands-on experience with workers' compensation and unemployment claimsExperience negotiating and managing health insurance and benefits [fully insured / self-funded]Working knowledge of wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, and multi-state employment lawExperience with HRIS and payroll systemsStrong judgment, discretion, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobleads-US
