Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to join the Enterprise Data Architecture team. This role will drive enterprise-wide data strategy, architecture standards, cloud data platform design, and modernization initiatives across Azure and Snowflake environments.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps.
Design scalable data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses on Azure and Snowflake.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Lead data governance, metadata, lineage, security, and data quality initiatives.
Partner with business, analytics, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
Guide cloud migration and data modernization programs.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.

Requirements:

12+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing.
Deep experience with Snowflake Architecture & Administration .
Strong database expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
Expertise in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance.
Experience with enterprise-scale analytics and reporting environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

Financial Services industry experience.
Experience with DBT, Informatica, Matillion, or similar tools.
Azure and/or Snowflake certifications.
Exposure to AI/ML and modern data platform initiatives.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role focused on enterprise data strategy, governance, and cloud data platform architecture.
