Travel RN - Emergency Department (ER) | Macon, GA

Assess, triage, and stabilize emergency patients

Manage trauma, stroke, chest pain, MVC, and critical medical emergencies

Administer medications, IV pushes, and titratable drips

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes

Perform rapid patient reassessments and escalate care

Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and ED support teams

Assist in trauma activations and emergency code situations

Use EPIC for real-time charting and documentation

Float within ED zones as needed

Provide safe patient handoff during shift changes

2+ years of ED RN experience

Experience in Level I Trauma ER

Active RN license (state or compact)

Strong experience with:

Critical patients

Stroke and chest pain protocols

Trauma response

Titratable drips

Certifications:

BLS

ACLS

PALS

TNCC

Basic Cardiac Rhythm (BCR)(must pass EKG competency exam)

CEN certification

Previous travel RN experience (not required)

Comfortable in teaching hospital environment

Work at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital

Great resume builder for ER / Trauma RNs

Accepts first-time travelers

Strong team support with 4-6 ED techs each shift

Exposure to high-acuity trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases
