Job Description

M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our Warehouse Department.  This person will be responsible for completing subassembly work, material and inventory handling, and maintaining an accurate inventory for all MBraun parts.

Job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Execute cycle counts and perform spot checks to support inventory accuracy
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Drive company vehicles (box truck) for material pickups and deliveries – DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified required
• Accurately pull and stage parts to satisfy Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Disassembly and packaging of gloveboxes for shipment
• Ensure proper packaging, crating, and palletizing of products to prevent and limit damage in transit
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Responsible for the labeling, documentation, and appearance of all shipments
• Ability to use hand and power tools safety and effectively (electrical and corded drills, hammer, pry bar, nail gun, etc.)
• Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purpose
• Any other duties required for this position

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.  This person must be able to stay focused and be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. 

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• DOT certification or ability to obtain DOT certification
• Ability to drive company vehicles, cargo van, box truck, etc.
• Ability to use hand and power tools (experience preferred)
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
• Fork truck experience a plus, but not required (must be willing to learn)
• Must be able to follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations
• Compliance with ISO 9001 standards and procedures
• US Citizenship (due to federal contracts in place, only US Citizens are eligible for consideration)

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Physical Requirement: Balancing; climbing; bending; stooping; crawling; some light, moderate, heavy lifting and carrying; must have fine motor skills; be able to grasp small items; kneeling; pushing; reaching above shoulder; pulling hand over hand; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to stand and walk for most of the day. Mobility requirement enough to move around the warehouse and production areas safely.  The ability to wear and use a respirator for certain tasks as required.
• Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents, and read from a computer screen
• Hearing Requirement: Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information.  Must be able to identify hazard sounds and be aware of the environment in the warehouse and on the production floor for personal safety.
• Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics.
