Yard Spotter

The Yard Spotter position supports the material and trailer movement needs of the mill and external customers/suppliers. This position fills in for vacations and other absences in the department. When Extra Crew is not needed in the this department, they may be assigned to shipping.
Work with the pulp warehouse personnel to coordinate all raw material needs at pulp warehouse.
Work with the shipping personnel to coordinate all equipment needs at shipping docks.
Complete daily yard checks and maintain organization of drop yards. Communicate with partner drivers for coordination of work requests.
Transfer intra-plant equipment, supplies and materials per the request of various departments.
Care and maintenance of trucks and trailers. Any duties assigned by the Supervisor or lead driver.
Hours: 12 hour swing shift
