Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation practice group in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental and products liability litigation, with a focus on California state court experience. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and motions. Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional interaction. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative case strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities such as court hearings and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents. Engage in professional development to enhance legal and leadership skills. Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work. Requirements Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in litigation. Experience in environmental and/or products liability litigation. California state court experience. Prior law firm or agency experience. Education Juris Doctor (JD) Certifications Admitted to practice in California. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail and good professional judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Persuasive communication and management skills.
