Customer Service Representative (Call Center)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced call center environment. In this role, you will support customers by handling inbound inquiries, providing accurate information, and ensuring a high-quality service experience.

Schedule
  • Full-time: 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)
  • Scheduled Monday – Friday
  • Shifts are assigned within 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM operating hours
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls , with occasional outbound follow-up calls
  • Respond to inquiries related to:
    • Prior authorizations
    • General account questions
    • Sensitive and confidential information
  • Deliver excellent customer service with strong attention to detail
  • Accurately enter and update customer information in multiple systems
  • Meet performance expectations for quality and accuracy
  • Manage between 50–100 calls per day , depending on complexity
  • Utilize various software tools and systems to document interactions and track communications

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of recent call center experience (within the last 2–3 years)
  • Consistent work history with at least 1-year tenure in prior roles
  • Ability to handle high call volumes effectively
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 30 WPM )
  • Solid computer knowledge and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously

Additional Requirements:

  • Stable work history (no frequent job changes)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional communication skills
Assessment Requirements

Candidates must complete the following IKM assessments:

  • Typing Test (1-Minute, One Space Version): Minimum 30 WPM
  • Call Center – Telephone Skills Assessment: Minimum score of 75%

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
