About the Role
One of New York's top personal injury law firms is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in New York City. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll play a key role in supporting attorneys across all phases of personal injury litigation — from case intake through trial preparation.
What You'll Do
- Maintain organized electronic case files and track deadlines and statutes of limitations
- Draft and prepare legal documents including Notices of Claim, Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Discovery Demands and Responses, Notes of Issue, Subpoenas, and trial prep materials
- Electronically file documents in compliance with NYS and NYC court rules
- Prepare demand packages and support attorneys through discovery and case development
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience handling New York cases
- Strong knowledge of NYS/NYC statutes, court rules, and procedures
- Experience with electronic court filing systems
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- SmartAdvocate experience a plus
- NYS Notary Public license or willingness to obtain
- Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
