Located conveniently near Somerset, NJ, this role runs from September 26th through winter break, offering a flexible two-day-per-week schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a School Social Worker, Psychologist, or LDTC (Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant)
• Previous experience in school-based roles supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Solid understanding of special education regulations and case management processes
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as interim case manager for assigned caseload, ensuring all student support plans are maintained and executed
• Conduct assessments and offer recommendations for services tailored to learning disabilities or mental health needs
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, providing guidance to teams and families
• Document progress and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines
• Act as a resource for staff and students, offering expertise in intervention strategies and support mechanisms
• Communicate regularly with educators, administration, and families to foster a supportive and collaborative environment
