Optometrist Opportunity
A respected, third-generation private optometry practice in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Optometrist to join its team. With a long-standing reputation for warm, personalized care and deep roots in the community, this practice offers an opportunity to join a close-knit environment where patients and staff are treated like family, and every team member contributes to a legacy of trusted eye care. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive routine and medical eye care in a supportive private practice setting
- Perform thorough eye examinations, manage ocular disease, and prescribe glasses and contact lenses
- Deliver clear, friendly patient education
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed
- Work closely with opticians, technicians, and front desk staff to support smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology: Optos, HFA-3, OCT with anterior segment, autorefractor, and topographer
- Contribute to specialty services: myopia control, astigmatism management, gas permeable and scleral lenses, multifocal contact lenses
- Flexible schedule: 24 to 40 hours per week, with 30- to 45-minute exam slots
