The practice offers full-scope medical eye care, a broad selection of eyeglass frames and sunglasses, and a variety of contact lens options, including specialty contact lenses for hard-to-fit patients. Areas of focus include myopia control, astigmatism, gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses, and multifocal contact lenses, supported by advanced diagnostic technology and a team committed to exceptional service. This is an opportunity to be part of a close-knit, patient-centered team that values genuine care, collaboration, and continuous improvement while helping the practice grow thoughtfully through expanded services, new technology, team development, and better ways to support both patients and staff.As the newest Optometrist on the team, you'll provide comprehensive routine and medical eye care in a private practice setting, including eye examinations, ocular disease management, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and patient education. You'll document care accurately in the electronic health record, coordinate with healthcare providers as needed, and collaborate with opticians, technicians, and front desk staff to support smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience. You'll also work with advanced technology, including Optos, HFA-3, OCT with anterior segment, autorefractor, and topographer, while helping grow specialty services and maintain a friendly, patient-centered environment. This role can be part-time or full-time and offers 24 to 40 hours per week, with 30- to 45-minute exam slots across the optometrist team.You're a kind, personable, and clinically skilled optometrist who is genuinely invested in patient care and excited to grow with a respected private practice.
