Gastroenterology Opportunity in Decatur, Illinois

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join and help expand our established GI team in Decatur, Illinois. This location is able to support both J-1 and H-1B visa candidates. Position Details:

• Monday – Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
• 7 days per month of call & inpatient rounds while on call
• Minimal after hours clinic call
• EPIC EMR
• Dedicated support staff
• Robotics available for surgical cases
• J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available

Position Requirements:

• Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• M.D., D.O., or MBBS

Pay Range: $700,000

Core Function: Provider Education Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
• Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
• Must be board certified or board eligible.
