Accounts Receivable / Warehouse Clerk

Location: Elizabeth, NJ
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Day Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Warehouse Clerk to join a busy warehouse operation in Elizabeth, NJ. This position combines office responsibilities with warehouse support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing administrative work with hands-on tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts receivable, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to assist with warehouse operations as needed.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Process customer invoices accurately and on time
• Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliation
• Perform general administrative and data entry duties

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments
• Prepare shipping paperwork and maintain warehouse documentation
• Enter inventory transactions into the computer system
• Assist with order processing and inventory control
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate shipments
• Maintain organized files and records
• Support warehouse operations as business needs require

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience required
• Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
