Physician Assistant

to join its expanding

Orthopedic Surgery

team with a specialized focus on

osteoporosis care

. This position supports a collaborative academic practice dedicated to comprehensive osteoporosis management, including the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic fragility fractures and metabolic bone health optimization.

The selected provider will collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, residents, fellows, and multidisciplinary care teams in outpatient clinic settings. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a provider interested in practicing within an academic medical environment while developing specialized expertise in osteoporosis management.

Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, residents, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams Provide comprehensive patient education on bone health, osteoporosis treatment options, and injury prevention strategies Promote bone health awareness initiatives to prevent recurrent fractures Coordinate referrals and facilitate care transitions to primary care providers and subspecialty services Provide care across designated Banner University Medical Center Tucson outpatient clinic locations

Current, unrestricted Arizona Physician Assistant license certification Active DEA registration and prescribing privileges Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic setting Orthopedic, rheumatology, endocrinology, osteoporosis, or musculoskeletal experience preferred Highly qualified new graduates with a demonstrated interest in orthopedics and osteoporosis/bone health are encouraged to apply.
