\n \nAbout the Company:
\nA rapidly growing, technology-driven company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who enjoys partnering with business teams, solving problems, and helping a company scale. The ideal candidate is collaborative, business-focused, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
\n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, partnership, technology, and service agreements. \n
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance. \n
- Manage commercial negotiations, assess legal risks, and prioritize issues based on business impact. \n
- Leverage AI tools to improve contract review, drafting, and legal workflows. \n
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and support business growth. \n
- Develop and refine contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidelines, and contract management processes. \n
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, compliance, and day-to-day legal matters. \n
Must-Have Skills:
\n- \n
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar. \n
- 3–7 years of commercial transactions experience, including drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. \n
- Experience with logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, or other operationally complex businesses. \n
- Hands-on AI fluency, including experience using tools such as Claude, GC AI, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to improve legal efficiency. \n
- Strong business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives. \n
- Collaborative, approachable, and adaptable. \n
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n
Nice-to-Have Skills:
\n- \n
- Prior in-house experience, particularly in a high-growth or technology-driven company. \n
- Experience with contract management platforms such as Ironclad. \n
- Experience with software licensing, privacy, or technology agreements. \n
