Corporate Counsel - Energy Infrastructure & M&A

\n \nAbout the Role
\nGS2 have partnered with a fast-growing global data center and energy infrastructure platform. We are seeking a business minded Corporate Counsel to join the legal team.
\n \nIn this role, you will lead high value operational infrastructure deals, real estate site development, and commercial power procurement, while partnering directly with senior legal leadership on corporate M&A and strategic growth initiatives.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Infrastructure & Commercial Development: Negotiate and structure complex operational transactions, including power supply contracts, commercial land acquisitions, ground leases, site control agreements, and project development contracts. \n
- Corporate M&A & JVs: Support end to end deal execution, due diligence, and post closing integration for corporate acquisitions, joint ventures, and asset dispositions alongside the General Counsel. \n
- Business Advisory: Serve as an embedded legal partner to executive, development, and engineering teams to streamline project delivery and evaluate commercial risk. \n
Mandatory Qualifications (Strictly Required)

- Training: Minimum 3–5+ years of post-qualification transactional experience, including foundational training as an associate at an Am Law 100/200 law firm . \n
- Domain Focus: Demonstrated experience leading deal execution in at least one of the following areas: \n
- Energy infrastructure, utility-scale power projects, or project finance. \n
- Commercial real estate development, ground leasing, and land acquisition. \n
- Strategic corporate M&A, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. \n
