Clinical Educator - Labor, Delivery Recovery & Postpartum

What You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; master’s degree in Nursing preferred. 3+ years of experience in clinical education, training and development, nursing professional development or a related role preferred. Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license. Previous clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery, Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum, maternal-child health or a closely related specialty required. Strong clinical knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, postpartum care, newborn assessment and obstetric emergency response. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtained within established department guidelines. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required. Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification strongly preferred. Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP or fetal monitoring preferred. Experience developing or facilitating clinical simulation, competency validation and staff education strongly preferred.
