Retirement Transition Program Manager

Overview Location: 2727 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004, United States of America. This position is fully on-site in Phoenix, Arizona. U-Haul International is seeking a goal-oriented individual to join a team assisting internal members with retirement transitions. The candidate should have a passion for educating a diverse team on retirement tools and benefits. Responsibilities Effectively and accurately administer the retiree health reimbursement benefit and life policies. Provide in-depth guidance on Medicare and Social Security benefits. Collaborate with the SmartDollar team and assist team members on personal finance budgeting and retirement planning. Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails. Produce and present webinars, educational courses, video presentations, and other benefit marketing materials. Conduct in-person presentations and provide one-on-one coaching to those planning retirement or addressing debt. Maintain knowledge of company benefits (Medical, Financial Wellness, 401(k) and ESOP) and how these benefits coordinate with Medicare and Social Security. Perform cross-functional tasks in a dynamic environment; coordinate with other team members and departments. Perform both complex and routine administrative tasks in a timely manner; maintain high accuracy in recordkeeping and confidentiality. Provide backup support to other Financial Wellness programs and perform other related tasks as assigned. Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $50,000–$54,000 annually. Qualifications Professional decorum and trustworthiness; excellent written and verbal communication. Proven success in program management with a strong understanding of Medicare and Social Security benefits. Ability to thrive in an independent work environment with minimal supervision and in a collaborative team setting. Comfortable with public speaking and video recording; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Organized, self-starter, innovative and creative; ability to follow directions with accuracy. Willingness to work overtime when needed; punctual with routine tasks. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Social Security, Medicare, and budgeting, or ability to become a topic expert. 3+ years of related experience in Investment, Insurance, Retirement, or Human Resources.
