Project Finance Associate

An excellent opportunity for a Mid/Snr level Project Finance Associate to join a top ranked law firm in New York. The team advises sponsors, lenders, investors and other stakeholders on complex domestic and cross-border project finance transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with exposure to conventional and renewable power, infrastructure and other major development projects. The Role Advising sponsors, lenders, investors and other financial institutions on complex project finance transactions Working on the financing and development of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects Advising on conventional and renewable power projects, including solar, wind and other energy transition assets Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, security documents and related transaction documentation Advising on project development, construction, acquisition and financing arrangements Working on both domestic and cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders Supporting transactions from initial structuring through to closing Working closely with clients, counterparties and other advisers throughout the transaction Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's broader Energy, Infrastructure and Finance practices Candidate Profile 3+ years' experience in project finance or a closely related transactional practice Experience advising sponsors, lenders, investors or financial institutions on project finance transactions Strong experience across energy, infrastructure or related sectors preferred Exposure to conventional and/or renewable power projects Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience reviewing and negotiating complex financing documentation Comfortable working on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions Strong academic and professional credentials New York Bar admission preferred Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team What's on Offer Market-leading compensation and benefits.
