Details Work in the OB Services inpatient unit of a hospital setting 13-week assignment 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each Night shift, 1900-0730 Must sign up for required weekend shifts, including a minimum of 5 Friday or Saturday night shifts per 6-week schedule period Must self-schedule 2 Sunday night shifts per 6-week schedule period May be required to work federal holidays as needed EPIC EMR used for documentation Requirements Active Illinois state RN license in good standing required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required NRP certification (American Heart Association) required Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required ASN required, BSN preferred Additional Information Serve as the primary caregiver for a designated group of OB patients, applying the nursing process to plan and deliver individualized care Perform patient assessments and provide infant care Administer medications per physician orders and document all care in EMR Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans based on patient and family needs, modifying as needed based on ongoing evaluation Collaborate with the healthcare team, offering constructive feedback and pursuing professional development opportunities Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and staff safety Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-737774.
