Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Kansas

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 2:1 patient ratio (estimated, never guaranteed), travel assignment

Highlights:

• 26-bed Medical ICU in a large trauma center environment
• Advanced critical care equipment including CRRT and Sono IV capabilities
• EMR system: Meditech / CPN
• Comprehensive case mix including moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management
• Collaborative team environment with 65+ staff members providing 24/7 patient care
• Multiple positions available for experienced travel nurses

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience (required)
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required)
• Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
• Experience traveling to large trauma facilities (preferred)
• Sono IV and CRRT experience (preferred)
