Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing recognized evaluation methods and observational insights.
Create tailored treatment plans that focus on immediate goals while addressing long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
Deliver individualized speech therapy designed for communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to develop unified care approaches.
Provide educational support to patients and their families to facilitate continued advancement outside clinical settings.
Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to promote a seamless treatment experience for our patients.
Ensure meticulous documentation in accordance with relevant federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
Commit to ongoing professional growth by engaging in continued education and partnership with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
A completed supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still in process.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Mastery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions applicable for all age groups, coupled with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, their families, and team members.
Ability to modify treatment techniques to accommodate a range of cultural and linguistic needs.
Robust clinical judgment paired with strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity and comfort with electronic health records and documentation protocols.
