As a CT Technologist , you play a critical role in diagnosing and guiding treatment by producing accurate, high-quality imaging in a safe and efficient environment. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, outpatient-focused setting where you can focus on patient care, precision, and continuous improvement. --- What You'll Do Imaging & Patient Care * Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. * Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort . * Administer contrast media when appropriate, monitoring patients for reactions. * Verify patient history and ensure proper documentation prior to procedures. * Perform IV placement and administer contrast media. * Perform daily QC. Quality & Safety * Ensure all imaging meets quality standards for diagnostic accuracy. * Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA principles) to minimize exposure. * Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements . * Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly. Collaboration & Workflow * Work closely with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging and reporting. * Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care. * Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns. Documentation & Systems * Accurately document procedures in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems . * Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations . --- What You Bring Required Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program . * ARRT certification (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. * Active state licensure * Current BLS certification . * Experience performing CT scans in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
