IT Systems Administrator

To support a dynamic research organization, the full-time IT Systems Administrator will manage and administer IT systems, provide technical support to staff, and ensure information security and data protection in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities: Install, support, and troubleshoot hardware and software across Mac, Windows, and Linux systems Manage and administer cloud environments, including Office 365 and Azure, while providing user support for data backup systems Onboard and train staff on IT systems, information security, and software tools Required qualifications: Proficient in administering Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and cross-platform systems (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux) Skilled in cloud computing, identity management, and network troubleshooting Advanced knowledge of information security best practices and data protection laws, with certifications like CompTIA Security+ Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Experience with device management solutions such as JAMF and Intune
