Nurse Practitioner | Internal Medicine - General/Other Location: Juneau , AK Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments. Conduct interview-based examinations supplemented by physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions, utilizing METs testing and diagnostic reviews. Deliver comprehensive medical reports and opinions; follow-up administrative work, such as addendums and reading diagnostics, is expected. Navigate a proprietary electronic portal to document findings and complete required medical opinions. Maintain a professional, patient-centric environment for Veterans without any requirements for prescribing or ongoing treatment. Qualifications & Credentialing Active and unrestricted full Nurse Practitioner license. Current AANP certification is required. Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Providers must own a laptop (specifically non-Apple/Mac products) for reporting purposes. Willingness to complete and become DMA certified through provided training. A current NPDB Self-Query pulled within the last 30 days must be provided upon submission. Candidates must provide a CV that includes their current home address. Specific disclosure is required regarding any active military duty, reserve status, or current employment with the VA. If the candidate is using a private office, comprehensive facility photos (including parking, entrances, exam rooms, and ADA compliance features) must be submitted for review. ECFMG certificate is required if medical education was completed outside of the United States. What We Offer Daily Rate: $1,200 flat rate for shifts 5 hours or longer. Half-day Rate: $600 flat rate for shifts 4 hours or less. Incentive: A one-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing the first set of exams.
