Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located at an orthopedic telemetry unit. This role entails providing post-operative care for total joint replacements, general surgery, plastics, and gynecology patients. The position offers the opportunity to work during night shifts in a fast-paced unit with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; experience in medical-surgical telemetry; ability to work night shifts; US residency or appropriate work eligibility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic experience; telemetry competency; previous med-surg telemetry experience.
• Additional Information: The unit includes 23 beds with a staff consisting of 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 5 registered nurses, 3 patient care technicians, and 1 unit secretary during night shifts. Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, lift equipment, cryotherapy devices, sequential compression devices, and bedside pulse oximeters. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. The dress code involves navy scrubs. On call responsibilities are limited to low census periods.
