Inova Staffing Services is hiring a Shipping Assistant for our client in Cleveland, OH! This is a great opportunity!

1st shift: 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $18.00 an hour

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable shipping assistant to join our team with some forklift experience. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

Prepare and package customer orders for shipment.
Verify products and quantities against packing slips and shipping documents.
Label, palletize, and wrap shipments for safe transportation.
Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack or forklift (if certified).
Operate RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records.
Inspect products for quality before shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
Assist with receiving incoming shipments as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
