Service Technician - Commercial HVAC

Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Install new HVAC units, brazing, line sets, trimming refrigerant and adding charge. + Install piping systems to include but not limited to drain piping, p-traps, water lines, gas lines valves and actuators + Install coils, compressors, condensers, fans, motors, combustion equipment, and industrial air compressors. + Perform start up, testing and commissioning on RTU's, Air Handlers, VAV's, Fan Coil units, swamp coolers and other Commercial HVAC Equipment + Test lines, components, and connections for leaks, brazing and soldering parts as necessary to repair defective joints. + Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts. **Qualifications** + 5 years of experience in maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification + Experience with ladders, roofs, and attics. + Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. + Understanding of basic electrical circuits, disconnects, electric valves, low and high voltage wiring. + Strong oral and written communication required. + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas. + Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments. + Valid Driver's license and able to maintain a good driving record. + Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time. + Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs. + Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at extended heights. + Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e., but not limited to, Dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection. \#Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite **Equal Opportunity Employer** As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
