Our organization is seeking applications for an Academic Internal Medicine Physician to enhance our expanding Division of General Internal Medicine. This faculty role presents a chance to engage in evidence-based internal medicine while playing a vital part in the education of medical students and residents at one of the leading academic medical institutions in the Midwest. The Department of Internal Medicine stands as one of the largest and most vibrant departments, dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and community service.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients in Internal Medicine
• Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Contribute to the education of medical students and residents through clinical teaching and mentorship
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary care with specialty colleagues across the health system
• Engage in departmental, academic, and quality improvement projects
• Uphold excellence in patient-centered care aligned with our organizational missions

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri
• Dedication to academic medicine, teaching, and patient-centered care
• Preference for interest in educating residents and medical students

Our physician group has a long-standing partnership to deliver outstanding medical services at various hospitals, including a children's hospital and a community hospital, as well as our academic hospital.

With over 600 faculty and academic medical professionals, we form a dedicated academic physician division and continue our roles as researchers and educators. We collaborate with a network of over 600 community-based providers to offer care at more than 50 office locations, alongside comprehensive virtual and digital health services.
