Supply Chain Coordinator (Contract)

Job Description The Supply Chain Coordinator performs slot management activities supporting Vertex’s Supply Chain. Activities typically consist of well-defined support tasks that are performed independently as well as projects of increased complexity completed under limited supervision. TheCoordinator may work closely with other key stakeholders including Finance, Regulatory, Commercial, Logistics, QA, MSAT and Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Attending cross-functional meetings and utilizing dashboards to drive tasks to completion Proactive communications to stakeholders regarding process updates Attention to detail with a sense of urgency to deliver products for patients Supports senior supply chain staff with conduction transactions for capacity and patient bookings in Vertex’s slot management software system Works with Supply Chain and Quality staff to collect, maintain, and communicate product status information Confirms completion and tracking of supply chain supply-related documentation Performs administrative functions for the larger project team and department, including creating PowerPoint slides for presentations and maintaining dashboards for project status and metrics Supports the maintenance of the Supply Chain Map program Troubleshoots routine problems Takes meeting minutes and updates documentation Minimal Requirements: Associate’s degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience) Typically, 2 years of work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience Displays ability to multi-task and with guidance, prioritize assigned work in a fast-paced environment Possesses strong organization skills Possesses ability to manage own workload and contribute effectively to a team setting Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and timelines Good written and verbal communication skills to exchange relevant information Contract Duration: 6 month with a possibility of extension Pay Range $32/hr. - $34/hr.
