Machine Operator / Inspector – Multiple Shifts Available

Schedule Options

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
• Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and customer parts for processing.
• Load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, and related equipment.
• Inspect and handle customer inventory carefully to prevent loss or damage.
• Report unusual conditions, equipment issues, or processing irregularities to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
• Perform additional production or inspection duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, heat-treating, or inspection experience preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of metallurgy, temperatures, or heat-treatment processes is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time.
• Ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Must be willing to work overtime or alternate shifts, including weekends, when required.

I’d probably advertise this as Machine Operator / Inspector rather than “Machine Operator & Inspectors.” It reads cleaner and also works if you’re hiring multiple people.
