Certified Clinical Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy, EKGs & Injections – Wexford, PA 15090

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits; not a temporary job )

Location: Wexford, PA (On-site)

Local Travel: Requires travel to 2 satellite locations in Cranberry Township and North Hills.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (No evenings, weekends, or holidays!)

New Hire Starting Base Pay: $19.00 – $21.50 per hour (Starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways as you build specialized expertise.)

Future Earning Potential: Established employees have the opportunity to earn progressive pay increases up to $28.50 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Patient Intake & Rooming: Efficiently room patients, take and record accurate vital signs, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for provider examinations.
• Diagnostic & Clinical Testing: Perform phlebotomy (venipunctures), administer injections and immunizations, run point-of-care lab tests such as urinalysis, and perform 12-lead EKGs.
• Procedural Support: Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during minor in-office clinical procedures, maintaining sterile fields and patient comfort.
• Sterilization & Equipment Care: Operate autoclaves and processing equipment to clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments per infection control standards.
• Medical Charting & EMR Documentation: Document all patient interactions, vital signs, administered medications, and lab results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

What We’re Looking For – Minimum Job Requirements

• Experience: Hands-on experience executing clinical skills including rooming patients, taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, running EKGs, and administering injections in a clinical setting.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification: Current/valid Medical Assistant Certification
• Driving Requirements: must have access to reliable transportation and current/valid driver’s license to travel to satellite offices as an essential function of this job.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical charting/EMR systems, phlebotomy, EKG operation, urinalysis testing, and autoclave sterilization procedures.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of medical terminology, infection control practices, clinical workflows, and HIPAA privacy rules.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, strong attention to detail, compassionate patient care, and effective multitasking.
