Scalzo, Zogby Wittig, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to our personal insurance clients. You will manage a book of personal lines business, including auto, home, and umbrella coverage, handling renewals, changes, and claims support while identifying opportunities to round out client coverage.

Responsibilities

● Handle client policy inquiries, changes, quotes, and billing questions over the phone and electronically

● Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, and endorsements; verify accuracy before sending to clients

● Quote and place new personal lines business with carrier partners

● Handle cancellation requests, determine reasons, work to save accounts, and notify appropriately

● Assist clients with claims, submitting first reports, following up on status, and keeping clients informed

● Review policy audits for accuracy and coordinate corrections between client and carrier

● Review client coverage annually and recommend adjustments as needs change

● Actively identify cross-sell and rounding opportunities within the existing book

● Prepare renewal proposals and coverage summaries as needed

● Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the Agency Management System

Requirements

● Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred

● Minimum 3 years of insurance-related experience

● Active Property Casualty license, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

● Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Agency Management Systems

● Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with strong written and verbal communication
