This weekday-only locum assignment offers predictable hours, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to work with a growing program supported by an experienced clinical team.Assignment Details

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Start Dates Available:
  • August 7
  • August 24 - September 4
  • September 14 - September 18
  • (August 3 may also be available)
  • Potential for ongoing coverage
  • Duration: Multiple coverage dates with ongoing expansion opportunities
  • Schedule:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday
    • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    • Three days per week
    • Potential to expand to five days per week as the program grows
    • Setting:
      • Outpatient ECT Program
      • Anesthesia services for ECT procedures
      • 2 pre-op bays
      • 2 procedure rooms (currently operating with one; expanding to two)
      • 2 PACU bays
      • Approximately 10 patients per day
      • Current volume of 3 patients per hour per procedure room
      • Paper chartingCompensation & Benefits

          • Provide anesthesia services for outpatient ECT procedures
          • Evaluate patients pre-operatively and monitor recovery
          • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and procedural team
          • Ensure safe, efficient patient care throughout each treatment day
          • Support a growing ECT program with consistent weekday coverageRequirements
            • Active Texas Medical License
            • DEA registration with a Texas address
            • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
            • Urine drug screen required within 3 days of offer acceptance
            • Criminal background check required
            • Current TB test (within the past year)
            • Clean professional history preferred
