Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Wound Care position requiring CWOCN certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience.
Details
- Wound Care unit providing specialized care for wound, ostomy, and continence patients
- Serves as part of a consulting team offering recommendations for wound, ostomy, and continence needs
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and CWOCN
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care required
- Cerner EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide specialized consulting care and recommendations for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must complete a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- RTO must be requested prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward
