Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neuro and med-surg patients, including ongoing assessments and prioritization of care
- Perform NIHSS assessments and monitor neuro status; document scores in CV packet as required
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; manage IV therapy, wound care, and catheter care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists and other team members; participate in daily briefs and handoffs
- Document accurately in EPIC EMR; maintain charting integrity and compliance with policies
- Respond to clinical changes, intervene during emergencies, and uphold patient safety and infection control

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia; Nursys verification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Neuro nursing experience
- NIHSS documentation in CV packet; ACLS certification; neuro experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Availability for night shifts; no block scheduling and weekends not required
