The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing facilities by performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical wiring, mechanical repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools effectively.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and perform manual labor tasks safely.
• Good communication skills with the ability to talk and hear clearly to coordinate with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in manufacturing settings.
• Additional skills in HVAC maintenance or welding.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and structural components within the facility.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment using precision measuring tools and mechanical repair techniques.
• Install, maintain, and repair drywall, carpentry elements, and other building structures as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Climb ladders and access elevated areas safely to conduct repairs or inspections on overhead systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with production and safety teams to ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support operational continuity.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize production downtime and ensure workplace safety.
