Details\n \n 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center \n Care for adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock \n Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours a day \n RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg units \n Floating required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units \n Night shift schedule (7p-7a), does not rotate \n 36 or 48 hour options available with every-other-weekend requirement \n Uses EPIC EMR \n Requirements\n \n Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted \n AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required \n 2 years of continuous adult ICU experience required, preferably in a MICU \n Telemetry competency required, must be able to read tele strips \n Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed \n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct care to a wide range of critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity ICU setting \n Free on-site parking available \n Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-742809.
