HVAC Installer/Change out Technician III - Commercial Service

Responsibilities Installs and performs retrofits of HVAC systems with intermediate to expert knowledge of piping and/or sheet metal tradecrafts. Types of equipment worked on will include split systems, mini split systems, VRF multizone systems, RTUS, WSHP, self‑contained systems, CRAC units, air‑cooled chillers, cooling towers, airside equipment, AHUs and exhaust fans of all types. Proficient in leading a team for the installation of equipment exceeding 25 tons. Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment. Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability. Develops long‑term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction. Performs sub‑contractor management on quoted projects including coordination and scheduling of vendors. Provides guidance to sub‑contractors as needed and performs QA‑QC tasks. Participates in after‑hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements. Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements. Purchases parts, materials, and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub‑contractors. Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle. Able to work effectively with app based software. Qualifications Required EPA Certification for the position; Universal certification is preferred. Preferred minimum experience for the position: 3-5 years. Ability to read basic schematics, blueprint comprehension and code compliance. Must be able to effectively use app‑based technology.
