Echocardiology Technician

JOB SUMMARY A skilled Echocardiography Technician is needed for a travel assignment to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic echocardiograms (transthoracic, transesophageal) to assess cardiac structure and function. Obtain high‑quality ultrasound images and Doppler recordings according to established protocols. Measure and analyze cardiac structures and hemodynamic data. Provide accurate and concise preliminary findings to physicians. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Float between campuses as needed. Schedule / Shift 4 x 10‑hour shifts per week, Days (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM) Occasional weekend coverage and on‑call duties required. Required Qualifications ARDMS or CCI certification BLS certification Experience 3+ years of echocardiography experience preferred. Must have experience performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE). Structural Heart experience preferred. Skills Proficient in performing diagnostic echocardiograms. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Patient Population Adult cardiac patients. Unit / Specialty Echocardiology / Radiology Floating / On-Call Will float between campuses as needed. On‑call duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
