Wellstar West Georgia Interview Day – EMT/Paramedic (June 10, 2026) Location: Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, 1514 Vernon Rd, Lagrange, GA 30240. Job Description We are expanding our EMS team by adding new trucks to West Georgia. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions Communication: Must be able to communicate verbally in crisis situations with team members, patients, and family members to produce quality interaction. Teamwork: Work with an EMT or Paramedic partner to form solutions to unique problems, respecting input and achieving common goals. Quality/Safety: Adhere to safety policies and procedures and act safely in all conditions including accident scenes, businesses, and homes. Job Knowledge: Acts within appropriate guidelines and scope of practice for the Paramedic role. Does not operate outside of scope without online medical direction from the ED physician. Financial Stewardship: Maintain accurate supply levels; does not use equipment for unintended purposes. Maintain vehicles in good working order and perform daily preventative maintenance checks. Problem Solving: Under pressure analyze problems to identify underlying issues and determine an action plan for patient care. Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards and code of conduct.
