Manufacturing Engineer

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer in Carlsbad, CA. This Manufacturing Engineer position is a direct hire opportunity!

The Manufacturing Engineer will support and optimize manufacturing processes within a medical device and biotechnology manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on engineering professional who can troubleshoot production issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support process validations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities for Manufacturing Engineer include but are not limited to:

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and throughput

• Lead process validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, and support equipment qualification projects

• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to support continuous improvement and new product introductions

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Manufacturing Engineer jobs:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environment

• Experience with GMP, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, process validation, and quality systems

• Strong problem-solving, project management, technical writing, and data analysis skills

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
