Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring for a Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist on behalf of its client. This is an onsite, task order based consulting role supporting a large public sector organization across multiple departments.

The analyst performs data validation, analysis, dashboard development, and reporting automation on assigned task orders, turning departmental data into reporting products that show whether operational changes are producing measurable results. Placement is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and reconcile data from client systems and departmental sources
  
• Perform analysis to identify trends, gaps, workload patterns, and operational performance issues
  
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms
  
• Support metric development by documenting definitions, calculation logic, and data sources
  
• Automate recurring reporting tasks to reduce manual effort for client staff
  
• Prepare written reports and briefing materials that present findings clearly to non technical readers
  
• Document data sources, assumptions, limitations, and methodology for every deliverable
  
• Support quality assurance reviews of reporting accuracy and documentation completeness
  
• Maintain availability for client consultation between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, respond to inquiries within one business day, and respond to urgent requests within four hours
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field
  
• Minimum three years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operational reporting
  
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python, R, or a comparable analytical language
  
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable platform
  
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data cleanup techniques
  
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain analytical findings without jargon
  
• Ability to handle confidential data appropriately and to exercise discretion in a public sector environment
  
• Ability to report onsite in Frederick, Maryland on the schedule required by the assigned task order
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a government or public sector client
  
• Experience with ETL tooling or reporting automation
  
• Familiarity with performance measurement frameworks and KPI reporting
  
• Experience presenting to program managers or department leadership
  
• Currently residing in the Frederick, Maryland area or the surrounding region
  

Certifications

One or more of the following is preferred. Copies of all certificates must be provided with your application:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  
• Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst
  
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
  
• Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
  

Compensation

$40.00 to $54.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. Benefits vary by employment classification and are discussed during the interview process.
