Location: Frederick, MD Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually Safety Supervisor Our client is seeking a Safety Supervisor to strengthen our safety culture and support our fast‑paced manufacturing operations. The Safety Supervisor supports operations by ensuring a safe, compliant, and prevention‑focused workplace. This role blends hands‑on floor engagement with structured program management, training, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the production floor, builds trust with teams, and drives proactive safety improvements. Responsibilities Maintain and enhance OSHA‑aligned safety policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives. Perform JHAs, ergonomic reviews, machine safety evaluations, and recommend corrective actions. Investigate injuries and near misses, complete root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Facilitate orientations, toolbox talks, and targeted safety training across all departments. Manage OSHA recordkeeping, support audits, and maintain required documentation. Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering to reduce risk trends and elevate safety performance. Coordinate drills, evacuation planning, and emergency response readiness. Qualifications 2–5 years of manufacturing safety experience Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations; OSHA 30 preferred Experience with safety reporting tools and metrics Clear, confident communication skills for training and coaching Certifications such as CHST or ASP are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
